Mike [aka Mr.V] is a HOME DIY fanatic with over three decades of professional experience in the home maintenance and improvement industry. At age 15, he launched his first home services business in his grandmothers mobile home park. He invested thirty bucks and purchased an electric hedge trimmer and some business cards and his PracTacular career was off and running. As life progressed, Mike and his wife, Dawn, have lived in / bought & sold / or completely remodeled over thirteen homes in their 35 years of marriage. Throughout Mike’s professional career, he has built numerous 10,000 square foot retail music stores all over the nation as well as being a licensed general contractor in the states of Oregon and California. He specializes in design/build cosmetic remodeling and home improvement services. At the request of the high school principle, Mike became a Career and Technical Educator for the state of California and is currently teaching Building and Construction Trades at Mammoth High School.
He loves to deconstruct complex building projects and then systematically create a Practical step-by-step plan to make them become a reality. His goal is two fold; [1] To serve his clients with exceptional professionalism and quality work, and [2] Create How.2 Courses and curriculum that allow a person, of any skill level, to achieve Spectacular results every time. It is from this passionate pursuit, that Mike came up with the one of a kind word, ‘PracTacular’. This word has become both the life mantra and professional philosophy that drives Mike and Dawn to build great things in this world we share.
His mission is to serve and teach enthusiastic HOME DIY’ers How.2 Get iT Done, Have Fun, and gain the deep satisfaction of the Hands-On building experience.
